This opportunity is based between our Cameronbridge Distillery and our Leven Spirit Supply Operation (we call this CAMLE).

    Our three-year Spirit Operation Apprenticeship programme is an exciting, blended learning approach of in-the-classroom and on-the-job training right at the heart of an enormous global operation. We take this seriously, so we’ll take your future seriously.

    How does the programme work?

    Spirit Supply plays a vital role in our supply chain. You will be directly involved in producing and preparing the spirit that goes into our most iconic brands. You’ll spend three enjoyable years as a respected member of this group, learning everything there is to know.

    The programme is structured at a pace to help, support and inspire you. You will rotate between teams every 6 months to gain a wide appreciation of our operations which will help develop your technical knowledge. The structure of the program will involve you being on site, four days a week and one day a week you will attend college to study for your SCQF Level 5 or your HNC/D in Chemical Engineering.

    What are the Career Paths after the programme?

    At the end of the programme, you will have obtained your SCQF Level 5 or your HNC/D in Chemical Engineering.

    As a Spirit Operator you will have deep understanding of our operations, and you will have gained experience in a variety of processes. Depending on your interests, you can work towards a variety of Manufacturing roles, such as Process Improvement roles, or Team Leadership.

    Who are we looking for?

    Academically, we’re looking for three Highers including Chemistry at B or above in addition to three Nat 5’s – including Maths, English and one technical or science subject.

    You will be someone that likes to reflect on innovative solutions and have the willingness to share them, who’s proud of getting a great job done. Integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day, will also really mark you out.

    What should I expect from the selection process?

    Selecting the right individuals to join our programme is crucial to us – we want to see all that complete this Apprenticeship succeed and keep crafting a satisfying career!

    This is why we have built a 3 steps selection process:

    • 1st STEP – CV application and online game set

    At this stage is important that you submit your updated CV, clearly stating your highest acquired education and your experience.

    We don’t expect you to have experience in Manufacturing necessarily.

    A brief description of your part time jobs, volunteering, sports, and hobbies can be a fantastic way to introduce yourself.

    Right after your CV submission, you will also receive a link to an online game set. Please make sure to complete the set in a quiet environment with no distraction and stable Wi-Fi.

    Following the first screening, you will then be invited to the second step.

    • 2nd STEP – Video Interview
    • 3rd and FINAL STEP – Assessment Centre
