Your new role
Part of Digital Science’s Data and Analytics Hub. We look after the largest, rapidly growing SaaS businesses within Digital Science and have high growth expectations and targets. You’ll experience all the excitement and innovation of a small growing business within the security of a larger supportive organization.
We have offices around the world (London, Boston and Romania) and our colleagues are global, but most of us work remotely.
What you’ll be doing
The product marketing team work collaboratively with product and sales to deliver GTM product launches and generate engaging sales enablement materials that showcase our capabilities and speak to the needs of our customers.
We also provide strategic support refining targeting, messaging and positioning and deliver product and competitive intel which supports the campaign marketing team in their lead generation efforts across our 4 core segments: academic, government and funder, corporate and publishing.
In this role you’ll undertake a number of activities to support the promotion of our rapidly developing products and solutions. This includes:
- Supporting the Product Marketing Manager in the creation of effective product sales enablement collateral per segment
- Reviewing our competitive intel tool and collating updates for our competitive digest
- Planning and coordinating email campaigns with the central marketing team for product launches/updates
- Making product demo videos for different use cases
- Coordinating customer interviews for editorial or video case studies and load them on to the website, with the purpose of promoting the benefits of our solutions and showcasing how they have made a difference to customers
- Gathering customer testimonials and feedback
- Updating and creating new sales enablement collateral across our segments
- Working with copywriters to build our use case example pages, creating assets such as infographics and videos to demonstrate each use case, with the purpose of matching our solutions and capabilities to customer need and telling that story convincingly
- Supporting all marketing activities required for new product GTM launches (social posts, design assets, updating or creating collateral)
- Creating and coordinating monthly internal comms digests on product updates
- Creating, posting and promoting blog posts
- Organizing and promoting product-specific webinars to support lead generation
- Loading videos on our YouTube channels and PPC accounts
- Updating the websites with new content, case studies, use cases etc.
- Loading content and images to create interactive magazine content using our tool Turtl
- Managing the invoicing process and collating credit card receipts for marketing team
- Adhoc support for the campaign marketing team as needed
What you’ll bring to the role
You will be
- Inquisitive, proactive and organized
- Collaborative, with experience of working with multiple stakeholders
- Able to juggle and prioritize competing demands and changing direction in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude
- Passionate about learning and developing a career in product marketing
You will have
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ B2B marketing experience, preferably within one of the following industries: pharma, chemicals, government and funder or publishing, academia or research and / or for SaaS product marketing, subscriptions or professional services.
- Educated to at least a Bachelor’s degree level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience of:
- creating marketing copy for websites, email, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter)
- creating marketing and sales enablement collateral
- video marketing / graphic design (desirable)
- organizing/promoting webinars
- briefing agencies
- having worked with tools such as Pardot / Salesforce / Canva / WordPress (or similar) / Google Analytics
- working with sales teams.
