    Support for the Publicity Managers – on the Disney, Pixar and Avatar Brand team - in implementing publicity plans on campaigns spanning all areas of a PR campaign

    Ownership of more of the publicity implementation on smaller titles on the Brand team

    Assisting the Publicity Managers with managing the Intern

    The Role and Responsibilties

    • Support Publicity Management in developing and implementing industry-leading communication campaigns, in line with Studio strategy, spanning all content in the Brand team for content releasing in cinemas, on Disney+ or on DVD.
    • Lead with UK PR campaigns, and/or campaign elements, on titles within the Brand team – with support from the Senior team.
    • Coordinate and build relationships with various external stakeholders; press, influencers, producers, bookers, agents etc and take ownership of select relationships.
    • Lead with day to day conversations with print, broadcast and online media.
    • Support across the Publicity team on various initiatives, events and projects as required
    • Manage day to day communications planning for the team and publicity/communication contact databases.
    • Ensuring that PR materials are correctly localised, up to date and available to media via our distribution systems such as image.net and DMS. Managing roll out of content including exclusives with outlets and pitching to key media outlets. Press office duties to also include being a point of contact for enquiries and being reactive to requests from media
    • Build & maintain relationships with the wider Studio team and key internal stakeholders ensuring alignment with TWDC business needs. Take ownership of selected ‘synergy’ relationships (e.g. Disney Stores, Media Networks).
    • Work with Burbank/US PR leads and Awards coordinators as a liaison and coordinator of awards campaigns, screenings, set visits, tours and releases including logistics, submissions, security, talent schedules, seating and guest management, etc.
    • Tracking movements within the ever changing media landscape to support strategy across all titles by recognising current trends, conversations and competitor activity and sharing this with the wider TWDC teams

    The Experience We Require From You

    • Entry-level experience working in film, entertainment or creative communication and publicity sectors.
    • Theatrical experience and passion for film preferred
    • Influencer & events experience preferred
