    Most recently, we worked with Rockstar Games to bring the beloved western experience Red Dead Redemption and its horror companion Undead Nightmare together for the first time on the Nintendo Switch and modern PlayStation systems.

    We’re looking for an Undergraduate People and Culture Placement to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside. We can offer up £1300 to cover the cost of UK relocation expenses (this excludes personal expenses such as rent etc.)

    This opportunity offers a year-long industry placement between September 2024 - August 2025 with a salary of £22,000 for a 2nd year university student

    What you'll be doing

    • People and Culture administration: work on the generation of bespoke letters and presentations, maintaining organisational charts, employee files, support with meetings and employee relations activity, as required.
    • Employee Relations: support the People team with employee relation cases and note taking
    • Employee Learning & Development support
    • Workplace Experience / Operations support
    • Project work: support with ad-hoc project work
    • Updating internal People records (e.g. recording sickness and other absences)
    • Preparing People documents, such as employment contracts and other offer documentation
    • Participate in People projects (e.g. help organise a talent attraction event or team building activity)
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest People trends and best practice
    • Support the revision of company policies and ensure legal compliance
    • Support the creation of regular reports and presentations around People metrics
    • Support answering employee queries
    • People administration for starters leavers, transfers, parental leave as well as monitoring of probation periods ensuring action and production of documentation within specified time frames
    • Support the Recruitment team and hiring teams with attraction and selection activities and administration
    • Provide support across the People and Culture and Workplace Experience teams
    • Maintain Employee Files in line with the Data Protection Act
    • Ensure good knowledge of company policies and procedures
    • Support the employee life cycle, and work with others to develop and launch new initiatives to enhance our workplace experience

    What does selection look like?

    If your application is shortlisted, you’ll be invited to complete a timed online assessment stage followed by a competency-based interview with the People and Workplace Experience hiring team.
