The role
The role is based around a series of projects targeted at developing a great foundational knowledge of an engineering business as well as developing your communication, project planning and problem-solving skills. You will get the opportunity to spend time with and learn about the different business functions as well as spending time working in the engineering disciplines (R&D, Electronics, Mechanics, Firmware, Reliability, Manufacturing) relevant to your experience. The final part of the placement will give you the opportunity to complete a larger project or spend time working directly within one of the engineering departments.
The scheme
- 2 Years duration
- 3-month long projects in different departments to learn about the business
- Contribute to the day-to-day workloads of the department
- 1 key project per department
- Present Project update and personal learnings following each placement
- Exposure to other areas of the business where projects may not be available

What you need to have
- 2:1 or above in an Engineering or relevant Science degree
- A team player
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- An interest in industry (Vision, automation, and industrial environment)
- Personal development and career minded
- Able to commit to a two-year contract
