    We have an opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to join our Finance Packaging team as an Operations Finance Analyst, to provide analysis support and challenge the businesses, to facilitate cost control and continual improvement in operational KPI`s. This is a fabulous chance for someone with a finance background or for someone with strong analytical skills looking to kickstart a career in the world of operational finance!

    Working closing with the Operations Finance Business Partner, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our sites, supporting on queries & cost control measures as well as partnering with the wider business teams on sharing best practices to streamline the analysis and decision-making processes.

    Key responsibilities

    • To analyse potential alternative solutions to strategic issues (e.g. asset utilization programmer, manufacturing footprint, digital development plans, product innovation).
    • Undertake analysis into operational (conversion) costs across the business and develop effective tracking mechanisms that focus on key areas of opportunity or risk.
    • Support the UK operational team and Cluster Operations Business Partners to better understand the drivers of productivity.

    About you

    • Undergraduate university qualification or equivalent - ideally finance/accounting
    • Part qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified through experience
    • Motivation to complete a professional qualification
    • Strong IT & Excel skills
    • Proactive and solution focused
    • Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders around the business
    • A positive and can-do attitude
    • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
