The role
We have exciting opportunities for Consultants to join our consultancy team. This role is right for individuals with proven experience and strong technical knowledge, who will thrive in the success of the delivery in a wide range of projects.
Your key responsibilities
- The role holder will be able to demonstrate credible ability and a good knowledge of subject matter on projects with clients. This knowledge is applied to be able to identify a problem, apply domain knowledge and use systematic steps to solve it or provide recommendations
- The role holder will develop good working relationships with clients on a project. This includes presenting their deliverables to clients with confidence. The role holder must have the ability to challenge clients and colleagues around delivery approach or content of deliverables
- It is expected as well that the role holder will have accountability for all / part of key deliverables or pieces of work this can include the deliverables and the quality produced by junior grades. But it will also contain understanding of risks associated with the individual's work
- The role holder will structure and deliver a high-quality piece of work and manage against a plan. This may mean that they have to communicate status and escalate problems to client / senior team members where necessary
- The role holder is required to demonstrate an understanding and application of performance management and take an active role in feedback reviews. They are also required to understand individual development needs and put together action plan to improve
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of the Dufrain business model, core business offerings and company objectives. Has supported approved business development activities with a demonstrable commercial value
- Supports building the Consulting practice through contribution and involvement in ongoing initiatives. This can include Support knowledge-sharing activities, such as the development of internal training material (for example). But it can also being involved in the sales process through contributing to proposal material
Essential requirements
- Experience in one or multiple areas – Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Migration, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Project Delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
- Prior experience of one or multiple core Data & BI Solution: SAS, SQL, Teradata, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot QlikView/QlikSense, Microsoft Stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS) and others.
- Project Management skills – An understanding of the different methodologies, the project life cycle and experience of working in key parts.
- Experience of working with stakeholders to understand and deliver to project and client requirements
- Flexibility to travel to and work on client sites within the UK and occasionally Europe
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Ability to accurately require, gather and document business requirements and convert these into meaningful solutions
- A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
