The role

The PPC Executive (Pay per click) will be responsible for planning, optimising and taking ownership of a variety of Paid Search advertising campaigns to maximise the return on investment, drive forward innovative ideas and execute first in class marketing campaigns.

Working as part of a dynamic in house digital marketing team, the ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding in all aspects of performance marketing, demonstrable ecommerce and customer focus and strive to achieve best in class across all work. Attention to detail, highly analytical mindset and competency in handling data and Excel are essential skills within the role.

Responsibilities will include taking ownership of a variety of existing campaigns, developing areas for optimisation, actively implementing & owning A/B testing plans and ensuring communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

This role will report to the PPC Manager and support the broader PPC Team to help achieve key company, department & category KPIs. This role is a hybrid opportunity.

What you'll be doing

  • Take ownership of creating, maintaining and optimising PPC campaigns – working to category specific ROAS and ROI targets.
  • Actively develop ongoing A/B testing plans around ad copy, landing pages, images, etc. – looking to drive CTR & conversion rate.
  • Actively seek out new keyword opportunities using a variety of methods and tools.
  • Monitor and influencing all aspects of bidding activity on PPC keywords and products, with a view to driving profit, whilst maintaining ROAS and ROI v targets.
  • Supporting managers in delivering category and team KPIs, calling out & looking to positively resolve changes in performance.
  • Ownership of day to day category performance, actions and actively supporting category trade meetings.
  • Taking pride and ownership of work to ensure all activity is being implemented to the highest standard and error free.
  • Actively manage task list, understand prioritisation and feedback on risk of tasks not being completed and wider impact they may have.
