    Performance Marketing is key to future growth at Dunelm - and that’s why our Performance Marketing team is so critical. Here, we find new ways to reach customers, increase sales and maximise value through a wide range of digital products, services and channels.

    We are looking for analytical and STEM grads to join our specialist marketing teams focused on performance marketing. You will get hands-on experience across each area, with a structured rotational scheme across all of performance marketing in Dunelm. We cover three primary areas;

    • Paid-marketing on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Affiliates.
    • Search Engine Optimisation – managing how our website appears and is optimised towards search engine results.
    • Customer Retention and Email marketing – sending billions of individualised emails and newsletters to the UK each year!

    We deliver marketing at scale to millions upon millions of customers every day – from automated and curated email communications – to paid-search and paid-social campaigns where we bid on advertise on hundreds of thousands of different adverts every day – to analysing data on consumer demand and the technical website set-up for how it appears in search-engines – to working closely with data-science and analytics teams to understand customer behaviours and preferences.

    We are looking for STEM and analytically confident grads, however, the performance marketing team in Dunelm also brings a good balance of the human and creative storytelling side of marketing too –we curate products and messaging in our adverts, from copy to creative.

    You will also be exposed to brand teams, creative teams, digital operations teams, and technology/software teams. You will get a broad understanding of the whole digital/eCommerce and marketing world in one of the largest UK retailers.

    What you'll do over two years

    • Spend time working in each area of our Performance Marketing team and work closely with the Insight & Analytics team.
    • Learn how to promote Dunelm through a range of digital platforms and develop expertise in CRM (Customer Relationship management), PPC (Pay-per-click), SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), affiliate marketing, Paid Social, Display and more.
    • Dive into all aspects of Dunelm.com, from product to personalisation and everything in between.
    • Play a role in maximising sales for one of our commercial departments across all digital channels and devices.
    • Help realise the full potential of different product categories by working on plans, growth drivers, forecasting and measurement.
    • Get to know a member of the Executive Board of Directors with quarterly catch-ups
    • Get plenty of exposure by attending four
    • Executive Board meetings where you’ll present findings from the projects you’ve worked on and come up with amazing ideas for continuous improvement

    What you’ll bring

    • A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent.
    • STEM background or demonstrable analytical and numerical experience
    • A genuine passion for building a career in digital
    • Strong analytical thinking and a knack for solving challenging problems

    • Relevant work experience and strong commercial awareness
    • Brilliant written and verbal communication skills
