The Challenge Ahead
The International PR Assistant is a highly visible and fast-paced communications role that helps connect EA SPORTS and its product portfolio with players across our International markets. You will support the team with managing and briefing regional PR agencies, activating earned media strategies, producing media coverage reports and dealing with in-bound media requests.You will help to communicate the roll-out of strategy and how it can be most effective across International markets to ensure product campaigns are truly global. You will advocate the interests, needs and diverse sensibilities of our international audience, ensuring that they are reflected in our campaign execution.
We’re looking for a student who is passionate about sports and creating content that resonates with communities and players around the world.You will report directly to the Global Communications Manager and will collaborate with cross-functional teams around the business, partnering closely with local marketing teams and external PR agencies. You will work to support the success of our product communications whilst working in line with the company’s corporate communications strategy.
Responsibilities:
- You will help to increase awareness and brand recognition across International markets through activating various PR and media strategies.
- You will support the Global Communications Manager by gathering information and briefing agencies on media pitching, campaign activations and press releases.
- You will help facilitate inbound media requests outside the planned story cadence, ensuring there is a clear and established point of contact for agencies within the International Communications team.
- You will collate media coverage and produce reports and summaries on local and national coverage.
- You will draft and edit press materials and other communications for International markets.
- You will communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders across different time-zones to drive forward campaigns.
Qualifications
- You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's Degree programme.
- Available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2024.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK, without the need for visa or relocation support.
