The Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA) Logistics team covers 3 main areas of the supply chain – Distribution Centre Warehouse Operations, Transport/Freight Management and Global Supply Chain Planning. The logistics group is a small, centrally managed function that supports the multi billion-dollar global supply chain and distribution operations.

What is our graduate programme all about?
Due to organisational growth we have developed a brand new two-year Business and Supply Chain Graduate programme that will give you broad exposure across four main placements. You will gain experience across Freight, Supply Chain & Logistics Operations, working with diverse internal customers. You could also have the opportunity to undertake a placement overseas in one of our Distribution Centres.
As a participant on our Graduate Programme, you will
- Contribute to Supply Chain Optimization: collaborate with teams to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
- Data Analysis: examine data to make informed choices and drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
- Collaborative Projects: work on cross-functional teams to solve real-world logistics obstacles and deliver innovative solutions.
- Supply Chain Strategy: assist in the development of supply chain strategies that align with our company's objectives.
- Adapt to Change: embrace change and new technologies to stay at the forefront of the logistics and supply chain field.
- Be actively involved in our Early Careers community.

Location
You will be based in our Vacuum Technique Business Headquarters in Burgess Hill (Sussex), a short journey from the vibrant seaside city of Brighton and Hove. You could also find yourself undertaking a placement in one of our other global sites.
To succeed, you will need
- To be a final year student or a recent graduate with a minimum 2:1 in your undergraduate degree.
- To demonstrate a passion for working in a global supply chain and logistics environment and developing business acumen.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external clients and stakeholders globally.
- To have a process driven mindset and strong customer focus.
- Drive and desire for continuous professional development.
- To be organised and have a methodical way of working.
- The ability to work proactively and unsupervised.
- The unrestricted and continuous right to work in the UK.
- To be globally mobile to undertake occasional business travel and/or an overseas placement.
