About the role
As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you'll act as the business-facing Subject Matter Expert for the Salesforce technology stack. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that Elsevier has a functional Salesforce deployment and desired level of user support is being achieved. Additionally, you'll engage directly with global, multi-functional teams to provide user support and assist in the strategic development and enhancement of the Customer Relationship Management application.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with various business leaders and sales teams as well as direct accountability for end-user support
- Provide system and business process expertise when scoping projects and related integrations
- Demonstrable growth mindset; enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
- Apply advanced Salesforce technical principles and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
- Documentation and knowledge sharing; technical, business process, and best practices
Requirements
- Demonstrate experience working on Administrator with Salesforce
- Have experience working in Agile projects
- Have an understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on Salesforce Platform
- Be familiar or have an understanding of UI design principles and best practices
- Be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders and present technical content to a range of audiences
- Be a good team player who enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others
