Our team guides strategic development of the Customer Relationship Management application (Salesforce) and related Sales Enablement and Marketing Automation technologies.

    About the role

    As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you'll act as the business-facing Subject Matter Expert for the Salesforce technology stack. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that Elsevier has a functional Salesforce deployment and desired level of user support is being achieved. Additionally, you'll engage directly with global, multi-functional teams to provide user support and assist in the strategic development and enhancement of the Customer Relationship Management application.

    Responsibilities

    • Work directly with various business leaders and sales teams as well as direct accountability for end-user support
    • Provide system and business process expertise when scoping projects and related integrations
    • Demonstrable growth mindset; enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
    • Apply advanced Salesforce technical principles and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
    • Documentation and knowledge sharing; technical, business process, and best practices

    Requirements

    • Demonstrate experience working on Administrator with Salesforce
    • Have experience working in Agile projects
    • Have an understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on Salesforce Platform
    • Be familiar or have an understanding of UI design principles and best practices
    • Be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders and present technical content to a range of audiences
    • Be a good team player who enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others
