    We are actively looking for a Business Development Assistant to join our busy Sales team for the summer! This team specialise in working with key customers including Universities, Schools, Colleges and Charities, supporting their needs and covering a huge range of areas from property through to student travel.

    The role of Business Development Assistant will be working closely with our growing sales team. Day-to-day you will manage and develop relationships with both prospective customers and business partners and focus on supporting the team to achieve new business targets.

    Key accountabilities will include

    • To work collaboratively across the business considering all aspects of support we can offer clients
    • Planning and positioning of new initiatives to support longer term income objectives.
    • Review digital and online performance to ensure we build relationships and retain existing customers
    • Utilise marketing plans to engage established or new niche areas to maximise new income streams.
    • Speak to potential clients and prospect for new opportunities.
    • Ensure that customers are treated fairly at all times in adherence with the FCA TCF principles.
    • Play an active role in the ‘bid management’ process, supporting the team by preparing proposals and presentations for high value opportunities
