As an Equans graduate you will have the exciting opportunity to experience the diverse and exciting world of the UK’s biggest facilities management company.
Starting in September, all of our graduates begin with an induction before your placement commences. During your scheme, you will combine operational and functional roles within your chosen area. Your graduate scheme will span across a 12 month period completing one/two rotations. You will need to be fully mobile as the placements could be based anywhere within the UK.

Scheme overview
- Support Project Management colleagues in driving projects through to completion, assessing risks and managing accordingly
- Oversee delivery of Billable Works in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
- Monitor Supply Chain work teams to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks to achieve safe working, timely delivery and required quality and all performance indicators are consistently achieved.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard
- Confer with local DIO representatives, the Local Customer Service Representative and the relevant Site Manager to agree scope, priorities and delivery programmes of Billable Works on a regular basis.
- Ensure all documentation relating to Billable Works are completed and distributed in a timely manner, including upload to the Sharepoint system
- Support end users and management in providing optimal solutions to customer requirements to resolve end user issues, where possible, with a focus on supporting the MoD’s carbon reduction targets.
- Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions to ensure value for money.
- Ensure appropriate work plans and budgets are in place to achieve programmes and financial commitments, whilst meeting the changing operational needs

Who are we looking for?

- Graduate level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Developed IT skills (e.g., Excel, Word, CAFM, Teams, SharePoint etc.)
- A flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire others at all levels
- A team focus with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels
- A driven, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Previous customer services experience
- A full UK driving licence
- Associate Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM, RICS, MCIOB) is desirable
- Accredited training qualification in Asbestos Responsible Person, Legionella Responsible Person, Authorised Person Training is desirable
- Familiarisation with CAFM applications is desirable
