EQUANS are recruiting for a Graduate Trainee Quantity Surveyor to be based in London and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role working full time hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,000 and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
- To proactively support the Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor on the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the designated projects
- To control and maximise the company’s profitability, protect the companies legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues
- To assist the QS with commercial administration and management on a number of live projects or projects at pre-construction phase
- Carrying out various types of refurbishment work on social housing for a local authority client

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 2:2 or post grad in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
- Good level of construction industry knowledge, ideally via a placement or work experience
- IT skills – MS Office, Excel, Project, Word etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Keen to learn and develop
- Interested in a career within construction and Equans
- Driving license is essential
