    EQUANS are recruiting for a Social Value Officer on a fixed term basis to be based in Birmingham. This is a temporary full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, company car and benefits package.

    What will you deliver

    • Maintain a strong understanding of the Social Value commitments on contract/s, progress against these commitments and alignment to the clients’ Strategic Objectives
    • Ensure delivery on social value commitments to meet required deadlines (e.g., Site visits, work experience, workshops, employment and skills support, volunteering projects etc)
    • Ensure up-to-date, accurate data is recorded on contract Activity Tracker/s to enable production of internal and external reports by the Social Value Manager and support the continued development of localised Social Value Strategies and Engagement Plans
    • Maintain effective networks of external stakeholders and community partners to promote partnership working which will address contractual Social Value commitments in the most effective way
    • Complete case studies, social media, and content for newsletters to communicate activities within the business and externally
    • Where required, represent the company on local focus groups to identify and support opportunities/projects which will address contractual commitments
    • Attend and promote the company at employment and careers events
    • To coordinate the full recruitment process for apprentices, graduates, and trainees (TAGs) to meet the needs of EQUANS
    • Identifying risks and issues to the Social Value Manager as and when they arise
    • To ensure all apprentices are registered for the appropriate qualifications with training provider/college
