We seek to hire a creative Immersive Design & Development Intern who will design, develop and deliver innovative, cutting-edge learning experiences at a global level. We are looking for someone who is passionate about leveraging new technologies such as VR, AR and AI to design valuable learning solutions and create value for Ericsson and its 100k+ employees.

You will work closely with the Head of Learning Technology and Innovation as part of our Learning NEXT programme, supporting our learning innovation strategy and project pipeline. You will collaborate with Learning Experience Designers, Developers and Subject Matter Experts to create engaging learning experiences across desktop, mobile, virtual reality and augmented reality platforms.

You will also participate in experiments on the latest technology such as holographic communication. Finally, you will take part in shaping and maintaining a community of learning innovation champions, sharing best practices and keeping an eye on the latest technology and innovation trends in learning & development.

You will                                                    

  • Create impactful digital and immersive experiences to convey complex information with creativity.
  • Design, implement and maintain animations and 3D models that can be easily modified and tailored to various projects.
  • Edit, improve and adjust existing designs and VR/AR experiences.
  • Organize and plan workload according to production capacity.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and design strategies, share them with the Learning NEXT Community and know how to use them appropriately in projects.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Technological skills and knowledge to work with virtual reality and augmented reality.
  • Experience or exposure to content creation, delivery and consumption processes.
  • Virtual environment and immersive interaction design skills.
  • Digital design skills (animation, interactive pages, 2D or 3D modelling).
  • Experience in immersive games design and production a plus.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
  • Great knowledge of immersive industry and latest technologies preferred.
  • Good knowledge of learning technology industry a plus.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility, independence and initiative to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative, resourceful, collaborative spirit.
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor Master’s Degree in Immersive Technologies, Digital Design or similar.
