    First Option Safety Group, an ERM Group company, is the leading Health and Safety Consultancy in the Broadcasting, Television, Film and Entertainment Industry. The post holder will join the Operations team and provide a professional and administrative support to the First Option Safety team.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • To provide an administrative support function to the wider First Option team.
    • To manage enquiries from both clients and the team, using initiative to deal with or refer the query as appropriate.
    • To create and assist with quotes/proposals for Safety work.
    • To provide general administrative and project support as directed.
    • To be responsible for all team travel and accommodation bookings.
    • To manage the team diary, arranging and co-ordinating work to ensure best utilisation of team and individual resources.
    • To assist in the administration of the pre-vetted contractor database.
    • To update an out of hours call rota for the Safety team.
    • To ensure projects are set up and managed correctly using the relevant company online systems (GMS, Project Express).
    • To assist with the inputting of relevant data into the Company online timesheet system (GMS).
    • To answer telephone calls and redirect queries as directed by the Operations Manager.

    • Highly developed organisational skills.
    • The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, often under pressure.
    • The ability to take directives and use initiative to further develop these.
    • Good communication and customer service skills.
    • Able to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines.

    Desirable

    • Practical knowledge and skills in using a range of packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to liaise with clients in a professional manner.
    • Willingness to achieve objectives and gain experience and knowledge in all areas.

    • A flexible and pragmatic approach and adaptable to a fast moving and constantly evolving environment.
