    Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in all relevant commercial and contractual activities associated with schemes and projects.

    Key accountabilities

    • Assist with contract administration of sub-contracts
    • Help ensure the timely and accurate assessment and payment of sub-contractor’s applications and issue payment notifications to sub-contractors
    • Support the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts
    • Provide measurement of quantities both on site and from drawings, where required
    • Timely and accurate evaluation of variations/provisional sum expenditure and monitoring of the same
    • Monitor weekly direct labour & subcontractor payments
    • Assist with cost management
    • Assist with internal valuations, sub-contract liabilities and cost value reconciliations
    • Work closely with the operations team to monitor progress and its effect on margin and program
    • Ensure good quality, accurate records are submitted and maintained on shared drive and Viewpoint
    • Build relationships with supply chain, colleagues and client
    • Act as part of a team to deliver activities that support operational objectives

    About you

    Qualifications & experience

    • 5 GCSE (Grade A-C or 4- 9) or equivalent including Maths and English
    • HNC or equivalent - essential
    • Working knowledge of contract conditions such as NEC, JCT - desirable
      CSCS card - desirable
    • Valid Driving Licence
    • We welcome graduates with relevant work experience
