    The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for a Commercialization and Validation Engineering (CVE) Intern within the CVE department on a 13 month placement opportunity to join an experienced and committed team at Whitman Laboratories whereas a site we manufacture around a fifth of Estée Lauder’s global sales output.

    The role is centred in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within the Commercialisation and Validation Engineering (CVE) team to support the implementation of new products/components on production lines. Root cause analysis and production studies are undertaken to monitor how lines run with specific machinery.

    Coordinating with cross-functional teams to commercialise new products in UK manufacture plants. Provide feedback to brands by compiling data for analysis and making line trial reports.

    The successful candidate will be supporting new product introduction activities and continuous improvement initiatives, combined with the validation of production equipment (PQ), within the manufacturing plant.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Undertake production studies for the Assembly area to monitor how lines run with specific machinery. Produce recommendations and discuss ideas with relevant management.
    • Support Line Improvement and strategic projects, as required, taking details from relevant manager and working within a project team or individually as necessary.
    • Support Manufacturing Engineering with line trials and documentation as required
    • Collate and compile performance and operations data into usable formats. Data would typically show trends highlighting areas for improvement.
    • Generate and develop saving initiatives, investigate their feasibility and facilitate and drive implementation of justifiable improvements.

    Qualifications

    Studying an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or related subject and be on track to achieving a 2:1 standard or higher. (A Chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering degree is preferred).
