The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant (Intern) within the Human Resources department on a 13 month placement opportunity to join an experienced and committed team at Whitman Laboratories whereas a site we manufacture around a fifth of Estée Lauder’s global sales output. The HR Assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations as well as supporting the Recruitment function. A HR Assistant may also be managing internal communications, updating both onsite Digi signage and Intranet and supporting with low level employee relation cases. The HR Assistant is a major asset to the department and gives successful candidates great exposure to HR protocols and procedures.
What you will be doing
- Supporting organization of work experience, training courses and low level Employee Relation cases
- Administrative support for the HR Department including; internal communications, sorting department mail, telephone enquires, department filing and data cleansing and preparation of employee relations paperwork.
- Active involvement in different projects and HR strategic initiatives
- Administer employee benefits including; transport benefit, liaising with bus company as required, long service/recognition awards and seasonal tasks
- Creating and managing internal communications, updating both onsite Digi-signage and Intranet.
- Actively support the Recruitment function of the HR department.
Qualifications
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, strong administration experience, strong IT skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Confidentiality, ability to have tack and diplomacy with all levels of employee, Strong written and aural communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, Presentation skills. Consider themselves to have personable characteristics.
