The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for a HR Talent Management Intern within the Human Resources department on a 13 month placement opportunity to join an experienced and committed team at Whitman Laboratories whereas a site we manufacture around a fifth of Estée Lauder’s global sales output.

The Talent Management Intern provides a professional, pro-active service for the Global Supply Chain talent function & the site HR department. They work collaboratively with the Global Talent Lead to support the planning and coordination of talent planning activities, data analysis and KPI tracking.
They take a key role in the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. Manage internal communications, support with recruitment and HR projects as determined by the HR Manager & Global Talent Lead.
The Talent Management Intern works predominantly in partnership with the Global Talent Lead on internal talent management activities such as succession planning, high potential development, leadership development etc but also spends a proportion of their time supporting on site HR activities at the UK manufacturing facility giving an excellent exposure to all areas of the employee life cycle and HR responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing
- Update the Quarterly Talent Scorecards and provide commentary on the trending data
- Support the preparations for talent councils at a local, regional & global level.
- Administration for our leadership development programmes & other L&D initiatives
- Support Succession Planning efforts, complete templates and submit for analysis
- Prepare PowerPoints to showcase talent initiatives and provide project updates
- Undertake data analysis to understand talent trends
- Carry out external benchmarking to understand best practice in the talent space
- Utilise various software to provide engaging talent updates for the organisation
- Supporting organization of employee life cycle.
- Administrative support for the HR Department including internal communications, department enquiries, liasing with Employee Service Centre, and support for wider HR Team.
- Active involvement in different projects and HR strategic initiatives, including Inclusion & Diversity, Employee Engagement Initiatives & project coordination.
- Play an active role in the management of Inclusion and Diversity initiatives across the EMEA Region.
Qualifications
Characteristics of a successful candidate:
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, strong administration experience, excellent IT skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Strong analytical skills and confidence in manipulating and presenting data. Confidentiality, ability to have tact and diplomacy with all levels of employee, Confidence with written and aural communication. Ability to meet deadlines, Presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail skills.
