    We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our production team for an industrial placement (1 year).

    We are seeking a student who is as inspired as we are about making a difference to the UK's highways networks and assets that shape people's lives.

    The Engineering Placement programme also gives you the potential to be offered a graduate role once you have graduated.

    What will you be doing

    Spend time in the production plants to learn and understand the processes and support site production management

    Play an active part in running our process and supporting our business Support and lead small continuous improvement processes

    Learn soft skills that will be transferable in your future career

    Develop the ability to work with a variety of different colleagues in our operations i.e. operators, supervisors, supply chain, commercial and finance

    Entry requirements

    • Minimum 2:2
    • A good understanding and application of technology
    • Solutions driven, self-motivation, initiative & confidence to challenge the status quo
    • Excellent listening, verbal & written skills and willingness to take on responsibility
    • A full UK driving licence & prepared to be flexible on location
