    About Exscientia

Exscientia is an AI-driven pharmatech company committed to discovering, designing and developing the best possible drugs in the fastest and most effective manner. Exscientia developed the first-ever functional precision oncology platform to successfully guide treatment selection and improve patient outcomes in a prospective interventional clinical study, as well as to progress AI-designed small molecules into the clinical setting. Our pipeline demonstrates our ability to rapidly translate scientific concepts into precision-designed therapeutic candidates, with more than 25 projects underway. By designing better drugs, faster, we believe the best ideas of science can rapidly become the best medicines for patients.

As a Summer Intern in AI/Active Learning you will be working on optimising Exscientia’s algorithms that help decide what costly experiment needs to be performed, and what can be skipped. We want to know better the limits of the tools we have developed, when do they work well and when do they not? Road testing by the Summer Intern AI/Active Learning will offer valuable insights how the next generation active learning tools should be improved.

Exscientia is a global leader in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to modernize the way new medicines are created. We do this by applying the latest research, machine learning and modern high-performance computational methods to transform drug design.

Exscientia developed the first-ever functional precision oncology platform to successfully guide treatment selection and improve patient outcomes in a prospective interventional clinical study, as well as to progress AI-designed small molecules into the clinical setting.

We’re seeking an intern AI/Active Learning to join us this Summer for a period of up to 12 weeks. You will contribute to our mission to develop better medicines, faster, to people around the world.
