    What you'll do

    The programme is designed to build a career platform of technical, industry and specialist knowledge. It will give you the tools and opportunity to establish your own career path in various senior engineering positions and allow you to explore gaining further professional registration such as chartership, with support via our accredited MPDS IMechE scheme and IChemE mentoring programme.

    Your first role will depend on your experience, but could include:

    • Contact Engineer – you could be providing daily technical support as part of a team on a unit ensuring on-grade production that meets global market demand
    • Project Development or Execution Engineer – you could find yourself working on a major capital project to reduce the carbon footprint of our business or increase the safety or reliability of our facilities
    • Process safety Engineer or Environmental Engineer – protecting our people, local communities and the environment by identifying and mitigating potential risks
    • Supply Chain coordination – optimising the profitability of the site through managing the movement and storage of feed, raw materials and products to meet market demand
    • Mechanical Integrity Engineer – ensuring the equipment we use across our sites deliver the performance we need safely and reliably.
    • Machinery Engineer – providing technical support within a Business team ensuring the reliable and safe operation of critical machines, or developing innovative improvements for long term fleet reliability

    What are we looking for

    To be eligible for this role, you must:

    • Have at least a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Be graduating in 2023, or have graduated in the last 3 years
    • Be able to demonstrate a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment
    • Be motivated to continue your professional development as an engineer and work with Company mentors towards IChemE or IMechE Chartership, if not already obtained.

    Relevant work experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
