    Job Description

    Running from Monday 15 May to Monday 5 June this full time course is designed to give you first-hand experience of what what goes on behind the scenes in the run up to Manchester International Festival 2023, get advice from industry experts, and work on a special project designed specifically for the Factory Academy.

    We’ll be looking to recruit for a number of paid interns to help the team at Factory International to deliver MIF23. Upon completion of the course you'll be guaranteed an interview for a 3-month paid internship at Manchester International Festival.

    Future 15 courses are full time courses designed to introduce people to the creative industries, gain confidence and learn new skills. Future 15 runs Monday– Friday each week (apart from on bank holidays). Sessions run from 10–5 each day and will be delivered in person and online

    Who can apply?

    • Aged 19+, living in Greater Manchester,
    • Earning under £20,888 a year
    • Motivated to learn new skills
    • Interested in a career in the creative industries
    • Respectful of people from all backgrounds
    • Available for a 15-day training academy in May

    Future 15 is open to all Greater Manchester residents aged 19+ who are currently unemployed, eligible for Universal Credit, or earning less than £20,888. Priority for places will be given to people who are underrepresented within the creative and cultural sector.
