Join our team! Support the Marketing and Audience team in the administration, marketing, promotion and audience development for Factory International and Manchester International Festival.

The role

This role will support our radical new approach to delivering audiences to Factory International and Manchester International Festival, that readdresses the balance of power and equity in the arts. This role supports the Marketing and Audience team in the administration, marketing, promotion and audience development for Factory International - embracing new ways of working, challenging conventions and developing new strategies and tactics that will contribute to our audience development.

The key responsibilities 

  • Act as general administrative support across the Audiences team by scheduling meetings and room bookings as well as minute and notetaking
  • Support team across marketing campaign delivery, working closely with the team to deliver effective multi-channel campaigns
  • Collate and research appropriate marketing information and marketing opportunities for specific commissions, events and audiences
  • To help monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing activity, by assisting team to collate sales figures, compiling audience report stats, income and recording key performance indicators.
  • To research, develop and help manage relationships with promotional partners and other arts organisations to broaden Factory International’s profile and build awareness
  • Work across the team to help manage marketing and audience promotional schedules for venue screens
  • To raise purchase orders for the team and new suppliers providing financial administrative support, working closely with our finance team
  • To act as a brand guardian, maintaining our external communications and advocating for this across the organisation
  • To provide marketing support for events and work collaboratively to implement the audience development strategy to develop new ways to reach new audiences
  • To work closely with the digital team to develop creative digital content to complement marketing campaigns with a particular focus on young people

Essential

  • Organised, self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent organisational, administration and communication skills
  • Accurate with a good eye for detail
  • Be open to working collaboratively and be a team player
  • Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds

  • Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
