    Key Duties

    We are looking for an Electrical Engineering graduate looking to train as an Electrical Design Engineer. This role will be based in our Leeds head office and will involve assisting the existing electrical design team with their day-to-day duties. Your duties will include: -

    • Producing electrical AutoCAD drawings (Must have experience of using AutoCAD)
    • Producing electrical documentation (cable schedules, parts lists etc)
    • Maintaining accurate electrical drawings
    • Researching and implementing of technical solutions
    • Research & development projects
    • Management of in-house testing and electrical documentation.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Experience with 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD or equivalent
    • Experience Solidworks or Draftsight (would be advantageous)
    • Knowledge of British and European design standards (Not essential)
    • Ability to understand and read P&ID drawings
    • The ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team is essential
    • Excellent written and inter-personal skills
    • Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage
    • Willingness to travel would be an advantage
    • Knowledge of the application of industrial communication (Ethernet, CC-Link etc) in designs would be an advantage
