Hosting one of the most advanced cloud platforms in Europe we want to bring in an additional Data Centre Technician to ensure it all runs smoothly and we continue to provide our customers with the high-quality service they have come to expect.
The role
As a Data Centre Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the performance of our data centre infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include performing hardware maintenance, monitoring the data centre's infrastructure, assisting with cable management, ensuring security and safety protocols, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also troubleshoot hardware issues via a ticketing system, and work with the networking infrastructure.
Please note
- SHIFTS: the role requires you to work shifts - rotating 8 hour shifts between 6am to Midnight, including an on-call rota for nights and weekends.
- TRAVEL: travel to other locations may be required, so a valid UK driving licence is a must.
- TRAINING: The job holder will need to be First Aid trained (Training provided).
While we aim to make reasonable adjustments at all times, you will need to be able and willing to bend, lift, stretch and reach to perform the core tasks/deliverables of the job.
About you
If you have experience in a data centre environment already that would be fab, but we believe that talent knows no boundaries. If you possess a solid understanding of server and network systems, as well as hardware replacement, then you are already halfway there!

- IT literate with excellent written and communication skills - familiarity with Hardware maintenance, Networking or Server systems advantageous
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the desire to succeed
