As an HR Intern, this role not only offers you the chance to make meaningful contributions to our dynamic HR team but also provides invaluable insights into the complexities of human resources management within a globally recognised brand.

Main responsibilities

As an HR Intern at Ferrero, you will play a vital role in various HR functions, undertaking responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of the department and the overall success of the organisation.

You will be accountable for facilitating induction and onboarding processes for all colleagues at the Alfreton site, ensuring that new hires have a positive and seamless integration into the company. This will involve aligning with various stakeholders to provide comprehensive help throughout the onboarding journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to review existing HR processes to identify areas where automation could be implemented for increased efficiency.

Furthermore, you will help the internal communication manager in various communication initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and alignment. This may involve assisting with the development and dissemination of internal communications materials and aligning communication campaigns.

In line with Ferrero's commitment to employee development, you will also assist line managers with their capability-building efforts. This will involve collaborating with the Learning & Development team to deliver training sessions and provide guidance on development opportunities for managers.Be involved in the coordination and execution of technical training programs for employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Your role will also encompass tasks related to data management, including cleansing SAP data to help process automation and ensure data accuracy. Additionally, you will assist with local internal recruitment efforts, screening candidates and aligning interviews as needed.

Furthermore, you will be accountable for generating reports using Excel to analyse and track progress on various internal initiatives, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making processes. As well as offer guidance and advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring that they are well-informed and compliant in their people management practices.

Who we are looking for

As an HR intern, you'll need curiosity, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills, underpinned by a data-driven mindset. You should be organised, adept at multitasking, and always maintain confidentiality.

Effective communication, adaptability, a positive and proactive attitude, high motivation, and enthusiasm for Ferrero are key to developing in this role.

  1. Telephone Interviews April 2024
  2. Testing phase during that last week of April
  3. Assessment Center will take place May 2024

Anticipated start date 2nd September and will be for 12 months.
