Whether it’s the management of Investments, Funds or Portfolios. They’re all generic terms for what we do but we usually refer to our front-office business as Asset Management, as it’s where our investment decisions are made.

When those decisions relate to credit (bonds, gilts and similar), it’s our Fixed Income Investment team making them. This graduate programme will teach you how we do it. The team comprises expertise in portfolio management, trading, credit and quantitative research, investment directing and investment services.

You’ll get exposure to all aspects of the Fixed Income process and learn how we manage money for investors across the globe. Working on live projects with junior and senior team members, you’ll see how we use collaborative working and deep insights into risk to get a complete understanding of an investment.

    About the role

We don’t expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. As a graduate, and whatever you’ve studied, we’ll help make sure you get the most out of being a full-time employee.

You’ll experience our credit risk, trading and investment directing departments and work on projects that will introduce you to the basics of preparing financial analysis and investment reports.

You’ll go to portfolio strategy meetings and learn directly from senior managers whilst developing your knowledge of financial modelling, research, risk exposure and the commercial aspects of fixed income products.
