Position summary
We are seeking a dynamic Advertising Intelligence Intern to join our team for the summer. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in analysing various datasets to extract meaningful insights that will inform strategic decisions and enhance our commercial operations. This role is perfect for a candidate who exhibits a keen interest in data interpretation and possesses the analytical acumen to question and transform raw data into strategic insights.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Advertising Intelligence team to analyse data trends and performance metrics
- Develop comprehensive reports to present actionable insights to the commercial team
- Utilise advanced Excel skills to create models and forecasts that support data-driven decision-making
- Engage with multiple data sources to compile and synthesise information that will influence advertising strategies
- Participate in team meetings to discuss findings and propose innovative solutions to complex challenges
Required skills and qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualisation tools)
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to work through complex data sets to arrive at actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting data and insights clearly and effectively
- Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to questioning data and interpreting analytical findings
- Powerpoint/Google slides skills for presenting data in a meaningful and impactful manner
