Job Overview
To deliver on a day to day basis, under the supervision of duly regulated senior staff, the Firm’s corporate finance services to its retained clients and, to deliver aspects of the Firm’s regulatory services to retained clients.
Main Tasks
Transactional or client management (under the direction of a CF Director/Associate Director)
- Deliver finnCap corporate finance services on a day-to-day basis
- Deliver finnCap regulatory services on a day-to-day basis duly supervised
- Maintain client records and files
- Draft basic/routine client announcements for review
- Liaise with other finnCap Group disciplines (ECM, Research, Sales, Cavendish M&A)
- Draft client announcements for review
- Assist with the preparation of corporate documents including prospectuses, circulars, admission document, placings and announcements.
New Business
- Responsibility for initial preparation of pitch books
- Preparation of information packs
Networking/Marketing
- Maintain regular contact with corporate clients
- Be alert to business development opportunities and assist in their conversion as appropriate
- Develop relationships with intermediaries
Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with the standard set out in the firms CF Manual
- Maintain own professional competence through a programme of CPD
General

Qualifications, skills, experience and competencies needed
- Graduate level education
- Self-starter
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to grasp and understand business issues quickly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with colleagues and clients in business and social situations
- Strong organisational and IT literacy skills, including Excel and Powerpoint
