    We are seeking a Verifications Researcher to join our Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Operations Team based in Colchester;

    First Advantage is a leading global supplier of pre-employment screening.

    You will be part of a fast paced, diverse Operations Team who deliver high quality service to our wide range of regional and global clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Initiating a range of background checks through various third party services and our own internal systems
    • Communicating with companies, educational institutions and professional bodies across the EMEA region via email and telephone.
    • Processing check results in conjunction with our client requirements
    • Actively working with clients and their candidates to resolve any issues that arise from the process
    • Conduct analysis of candidates backgrounds
    • Review case files to ensure that we maintain high quality, accurate and efficient service
    • Respond to incoming emails, phone calls and requests
    • Obtain feedback from quality control
    • Work in a multicultural, team oriented, and performance driven environment
    • Complete mandatory, technical and on the job training as required to enhance skills and develop knowledge, including GDPR and privacy training.
    • Operate in line with all policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all data protection and privacy legislation is adhered too.
    • Demonstrate Company Values and contributes to a positive culture
    • Any other duties deemed appropriate within the team

    Person Specification

    • Fluent Verbal and Written Language skills - German
    • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to manage key relationships within the office
    • Ability to work efficiently in with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Excellent time management and ability to manage deadlines
    • Strong decision making skills
    • Able to plan, organise and prioritise a high level of work
    • Complete translations of various media on request to a high standard
