    Overview

    Fiserv’s Corporate Graduate Programme is an early career development programme where candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional role within the firm.

    Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience unique in the business world…and unique to you! We are looking for university graduates with drive, enthusiasm, and an evolving target for their career. The best and brightest will be the framework of the firm’s future, a pipeline of top talent for positions in critical functional areas across the firm.

    As a part of the Corporate Graduate Programme you will have the opportunity to participate in complex projects that can have a significant impact on the business while strengthening the skills necessary to lead in the FinTech industry.

    Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry level opportunities with the ability to advance within our company upon completion of the two-year programme.

    Department Overview and Responsibilities

    The Business Solutions team is a part of the wider Client Delivery organization. We are responsible for understanding a client’s Business Requirements and translating that into a workable functional solution that meets the business need.

    As a Business Analyst we are the functional experts for our Payment Processing platforms and understand what is possible through the use of the solution features and functionality.

    We are responsible for supporting client or internal changes right the way from conception, through development and testing cycles and into live client implementations. We are the expert and the owner of these changes but do work very closely with clients, developers and testers to ensure the end product meets the initial business goal.

    Working closely with one or more members of the Business Solutions team you will be involved in the following activities:

    • Reviewing of client high level business requirements
    • Taking part in detailed requirements workshops
    • The creation of Use Cases, User Stories and other Business Requirement process documentation
    • Taking part in Business Requirement review discussions
    • Reviewing Design documents to ensure all Business Requirements are met
    • Supporting the Testing phase of development projects
    • Ensuring clients understand the solution they are delivered and that they are happy that the end result meets the initial requirement specified.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Progression towards completion of a degree in 2024 with demonstrated academic achievement. Must be working towards a 2.1 or above. We are open to degree areas.
    • Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and have a technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly
    • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
    • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
    • Must possess unrestricted work authorisation and pass background checks
