The Project Manager, Staffing and Resourcing will work alongside the Senior Operations Director to manage Consulting Staffing and Resourcing function. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with internal teams and occasionally clients to deliver results on deadlines. We are looking for a highly organized individual with a passion for project management and a flair for creative thinking and an adaptive working style. The consulting team is comprised of approximately 100 team members across the US and Europe.

What you’ll do
- Staff scheduling across all internal and external projects ensuring all projects are accurately resourced and no Team members are running over or under capacity
- Management of the external contractor team and associated process
- Receipt, interpretation and subsequent action of management information relating to team performance such as billable utilisation and project efficiency
- Work with the Operations Director and other Consultancy leadership to implement a revised Resourcing process and scheduling system
- System governance: Overall owner and subject matter expert of the new system, ensuring all improvements, updates and processes are in accordance with the overall Company policies and objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Systems administration: Ensure the new system is working efficiently, effectively, and accurately reflects all live projects including new projects and proposals.
- Collaborating and working with the Consulting team (All Levels) to ensure the scheduling tool is updated with current and forecasts time of +12 weeks.
- Assist Project Leads/Managers to find internal resources to meet project resource requirements including prerequisite skills.
- Ensure no team members are significantly over or under capacity; taking action when this is the case
- Provide data analysis and KPI reporting to enable business decisions regarding Resource capacity planning and management, e.g. operational capacity, revenue forecasting and future hiring
- Provide training and communicate any new updates to all new and existing employees or contractors in the Consulting team
- Predict and forecast the spend on contractors and vendors to projects and ensure this spend is line in with SOW
- Take receipt of key BI reporting relating to the Consultancy Team such as billable utilisation and work with Consultancy leadership to implement the required action as needed
- Ensure all projects and proposals are resourced in a timely manner and help support the achievement of the Consultancy Team Sales and Revenue targets
About you
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager/Coordinator or similar role
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly with a can-do attitude and someone who can quickly build trust and excellent relationships
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- First-class administrative and organizational skills
- High standard of written and spoken English
- Quick learner with a flexible attitude
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to timely high-quality deliverables
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery, ideally within professional services
