    Flexys is looking for Graduate Software Engineers with some professional experience. This is an opportunity to positively impact a suite of fintech applications and to help build a customisable user interface.

    Location: Remote with the option to work from our Bristol offices.

    We work at the forefront of debt management technology. We aim to improve the speed, ease and efficiency of the debt collection process for creditors and their customers. It’s a sensitive and important area to work in, where the combination of creative thinking and modern technology can make a big difference.

    Our cloud-native Control+ platform is leading the field and transforming the way organisations engage with their customers, and improving their employee experience. Our clients include banks, financial services, utility companies and motor finance providers.

    We build responsive and scalable single-page applications that help organisations to manage debt more effectively and provide a sustainable and positive experience for consumers. We’re growing our engineering team and extending our digital engagement platform, applying machine learning and other AI techniques through agile approaches. 

    Role overview

    We’re looking for

    • A real passion for software development.
    • A graduate in a Technical related degree such as Computer Science, Applied Computing, Software Engineering, Web Development, Computer Games Programming, Computing for Business
    • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. 
    • Knowledge of building single-page applications.
    • Knowledge of clean and modern design principles.
    • Knowledge of backend technologies e.g. Java, Scala, Python, Node.js
    • Familiarity with the unit and acceptance testing. 
    • Familiarity with Agile and continuous delivery. 
    • Clear desire to learn, improve and share knowledge with colleagues.
    • Enthusiasm and informed opinions about modern software engineering practice.
