The role
We are looking for talented and skilled Project Engineers to join our Company. The Project Engineer performs assigned duties of broader scope and responsibility and may be delegated a moderate to high level of independent authority.
At this level, may have the responsibility as the only project engineer on a small project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for duties on a mid-sized project or more complex segment of a larger project.
The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that comply with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems;
- Assisting in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines in accordance with the established Project baseline;
- Coordinate efforts of technical disciplines, vendors and licensors to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements and contractual requirements
- Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans
- Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitor progress and cost performance against these
- Support the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages

Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited degree of global equivalent in applicable field of study
- Chartered Engineering Status CEng is preferred
- Proven working experience in projects
- Evidences of successful performance in a project engineering position on small, medium or large-sized project
- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge
- Be able to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Flexible and willingness to travel to project sites
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Proven experience of working effectively with the Client, project team members, management, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Experience with Scrum, Lean, Agile Methodologies or willingness to learn in practice
