    Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) require a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) executive to join the CDD Operations Team. A fantastic opportunity for a CDD Executive to play a key role in safeguarding both our customers and the business here at PPB. The CDD executive will carry out and document detailed investigations and analysis of individual customer accounts to identify potential money laundering and complete assessment of customer financial sustainability.

    The successful candidate will also be required to undertake direct customer contacts and support our customers through responsible gambling interactions. You will have experience of working within a due diligence or fraud department and have the confidence in making decisions and recommendations to management teams.

    About the Team

    The CDD Team sits within our AML & Fraud Operations function. We are part of the Customer Operations Function and collaborate with stakeholders across the business in Customer Support, Fraud, Product, & Retail. The successful candidate will be required to work on a shift rotation basis 7 days a week, up to 10pm daily.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate reporting and undertake in-depth transactional and behavioral reviews on customer accounts
    • Building customer profiles using internal and open sources, both in online & retail environment.
    • Diligently note all customer transactional data, known information and potential risks in an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Document
    • Conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) & Responsible Gambling Interaction (RGI) calls in a concise and diligent manner
    • Make informed and prompt decisions on customer behaviour and transactional assessments to mitigate potential risk
    • Direct handling of customer escalations and documentation review
    • Dealing with referrals and escalations from other areas of the business in real time Behavioural Competencies

    Education, Qualifications & Experience

    • 1+ years in a risk function would be desirable
    • Knowledge of the payments, banking or e-gaming industry
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and Visio would be a distinct advantage
    • Working knowledge of Paddy Power Betfair suite of products
    • An AML/Compliance specific qualification, beneficial but not essential
    • Experience using risk detection system
    • 1+ years’ Experience in a customer facing role (remote or non-remote)
