We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join the Security Operations team. You will be open to looking at all areas of Security Operations from technical analysis and root cause analysis to management information and reporting. We are looking for someone who is early on in their security career or potentially from university who has a keen and proactive approach of investigation who is ready to take on a challenge of a less defined day to day activities at the benefit of a wide exposure of mini projects across Security Operations, Security Engineering and Application Security
Specific role responsibilities
- You will have a proactive and investigative approach to tasks given to you
- You will be a part of the Security Operations Centre which looks after security incidents across FNZ group.
- You will be able to have a clearly defined project scope and be able to follow it until conclusion with manager support for deadline management
- Knowledge of basic scripting will be a benefit
- You will have a “Can do” attitude and explore different ways to complete tasks and think outside of the box
Experience required
Primary requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of networking protocols and investigation (capture, Wireshark)
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Databases and Applications (Windows, Linux, SQL, F5)
- Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel)
- Knowledge of EDR tools (Defender, Crowdstrike)
- Knowledge of security concepts (MITRE, Kill-Chain)
