What is the ESG & Stewardship Analystresponsible for?
The purpose of this role is to help build in-depth knowledge on relevant Stewardship and ESG topics, support our analysis and work with stakeholders across the business.

What are the ongoing responsibilities?
- To conduct detailed research and ESG screening on portfolio companies and potential investments to support the investment decision making process.
- Own and manage the production of all management information, insights and any other documents or reports as required for Stewardship and ESG.
- To maintain and keep up to date a database of information in relation to ESG factors for each of our investments.
- To engage with investee companies on ESG issues and instigate engagement initiatives.
- To work with portfolio managers to determine appropriate voting at AGM and EGMs for investee companies and maintain a record of voting and rationale on pertinent areas.
- To work collaboratively with the Head of Stewardship and ESG central team in order to support the development of research and analytical tools to ensure best practise and efficiency.
- To help develop reporting frameworks with the Head of Stewardship and ESG central team in order to communicate with our external clients
- To respond to data and other information requests from internal and external stakeholders
- To research and write on key ESG and Stewardship topics to continue to build the knowledge and understanding
- To support sales and marketing teams and contribute to client presentations in relation to ESG matters.
- Attend relevant training courses provided for professional development.
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- A high-quality undergraduate degree is expected.
- Committed to or currently working towards a relevant ESG Qualification
- Experience using Excel and manipulating large data sets
- Strong adaptive communication and influencing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
- The ability to report in written form on complex topics in an engaging and informative manner
- Clear interest in the topics encompassed by Stewardship and ESG
