Typical work involves smart use of data to extract key condition measures, then building probabilistic forecasting models based on scientific understanding or data inference to to help understand current and future risk. We work with the full range of numerical methods and technologies. Each client provides a unique challenge and an opportunity to develop our approaches In addition to developing the insight, it’s essential to communicate the finding to the client. This might be through traditional means or the use of web based applications
You will join us with an excellent academic record. However, this is just the first step, we want to support your career development so that you can achieve relevant professional qualifications including Chartership; All our graduates join our Professional Development Scheme, which is accredited by five professional institutions (IMechE, RAeS, IET, RINA & IoP). You will be assigned a mentor who will work with you to develop your own individual development plan so that you can gain the necessary skills and experience to become Chartered. To enable you to achieve your full potential we will give you the opportunity to spend extended periods of time working across the disciplines within our technical groups as well as spending time on our clients’ sites, which is so important for becoming the great consultant that you could be.
Requirements
We are interested in hearing from excellent candidates who want to work in data science and systems. As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:1 in your Batchelor’s or Master’s degree. You may have relevant experience from University courses that are similar to any on the following list:
- Computer Science
- Cyber Engineering
- Psychology
- Systems Engineering
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Mechanical Engineering
- General Engineering
