The role
Within Cyber and Human Sciences, there are two groups which focus on the human element – the Human Factors group and the Behavioural Science and Psychology Unit. These groups work alongside our engineering and technology consultants, focusing on the physical interaction, psychological and environmental interactions associated with the human in a system. The project work involves understanding how humans interact with systems and with organisations. We apply research methods to predict and influence human and team behaviour. We focus on the safety and security of our people within organisations and society as a whole, always focusing on the human.
We’re looking for someone who
- Is able to adapt to changing situations: the nature of consultancy is that you need to adapt to new scenarios in existing work or the situations offered with new work. We are looking for people who are able to adapt their behaviour and ways of working to respond to these changing situations..
- Is organised in their approach in delivering their work: The ideal candidate should exhibit good organisational skills required to deliver our projects. They should be accountable and possess the ability to plan and organise work efficiently to meet clients’ needs.
- Is able to influence the outputs of their research: The ideal candidate should excel in effective communication, being able to work effectively with our clients and stakeholder to deliver our projects. They will be required to demonstrate confidence in delegation, the ability to respect clients, articulate solutions persuasively, and exhibit the emotional intelligence required to see things from the client's perspective.
- Is able to create the new and the different: Human Sciences is one of Frazer-Nash’s newest offerings, consequently the ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial approach working to develop future services for the groups. Given a blank sheet of paper we are looking for people who are able to create new service offerings to our current or future clients. This role requires constant stepping out of one's comfort zone to embrace the future.
As a minimum requirement you will have obtained a Bachelors or Master’s degree. You may have relevant experience from University courses in Psychology or an associated discipline.
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and will be required to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.

- Step 3: Video Interview - Situation based & technical questions that are related to the important criteria needed to be successful on the role.
- Step 4: Explore day - This includes the opportunity to learn about what we do, network with current Graduates and find out about what a career at Frazer-Nash has to offer. You will be asked to complete an interview and presentation/task as part of the day.
- Step 5: Decision/Feedback - You will receive feedback even if we do not make the decision to offer you the job or progress you to the next stage.
