    What we do in Consulting

The world and our clients have lots of problems and we get a kick out of finding engineering and technology solutions to these problems. Through our meaningful innovations, our Consultancy experts help organisations make lives securer, safer, sustainable and affordable.

Over the last 10 years we have built a Project and Management Consultancy team that deliver project and programme management solutions to our clients, helping them deliver some of the most complex engineering and technology projects in the UK.

    Team information

You will be joining one of our teams based in Bristol, Burton-on-Trent or Leatherhead. Each team has a mix of project management specialisms and experience, but all are characterised by a commitment to help our clients deliver their projects successfully.

Our groups work on a wide range of complex projects across sectors as diverse as energy, transport and defence. Some of our consultants are embedded in client project teams, others work alongside clients to help them solve problems that are holding their projects back. Currently we are providing teams to manage and deliver state-of-the-art research and development programmes in Defence and support the UK government to access the innovation needed to reach net-zero carbon by 2050.

You could be working as an individual within one of these projects or as part of a team setting up and implementing project management capabilities such as Project Management Offices.

What you’ll be doing at Frazer-Nash?

The world today is full of tough questions. Are you ready to be the answer?

    • We are looking for project professionals who, like us, are committed to finding real-world solutions and delivering success for our clients.

    • We will also ask you to provide project management for our projects, putting your skills into practice in real-world projects within our business.
    • You will have a good understanding of the principles of project and programme management and, ideally, some experience of putting them into practice on real-world projects.

You may have an engineering and/or technology background. Whilst this isn’t essential it may well give you an advantage in understanding the context and challenges our clients face

    • What is essential is that you have an enthusiasm for work with teams, helping them organise themselves and deliver their objectives as effectively as possible – that is project management!
    • You should be prepared to travel nationwide, we work within and alongside client project teams and this is often done best face-to-face.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Desirable:

    • Experience working within a project environment.

The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application. Any offer of employment is subject to this requirement being met.

    What can Frazer-Nash offer you?

    • Support and guidance from passionate and driven Engineers and Consultants

We are really proud of the friendly and supportive culture in our teams. We organise various activities outside work, none of which are mandatory but all of which are great fun.
