The role
As a Junior E-Learning Developer you will be required to work on the creation of E-Learning courses with support from the Subject Matter Experts within Fugro. You will also be involved in the design of multimedia components such as animations, illustrations, images and 3D models for inclusion in E-Learning and classroom course materials. This role will give you an opportunity to work with our Fugro Academy Trainers and Course Designers to provide multimedia support to internal training materials.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company Integrated Management System and project specific documentation. You will be able to identify personal training needs, bring them to the attention of the department manager and to take full advantage of the training opportunities provided.
- Experience of working to a design brief.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular: Illustrator and Premiere.
- Ability to work within brand guidelines.
- Knowledge of e-learning development software would be an advantage.
- Ability to input to creative meetings and share ideas.
- Methodical and organised approach to managing digital files, images, brand elements and templates.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work individually on own initiative and as part of a small team willing to work with local, regional and global colleagues at all levels.
Desirable
- A BSc degree in multimedia studies.
- Subsequent qualifications or directly relevant vocational knowledge of multimedia development.
- Basic knowledge of Articulate Storyline for use in course creation.
- Experience of developing multimedia presentations or applications.
- Previous work experience in a similar role.
