Overview
Please note that the start date for the Gallagher Futures (Broking - Specialty) is September 2024.
You’ll form part of our Specialty Insurance broking team. This team is responsible for broking insurance for everything from Fine Art and satellites to Formula1 and just under 50% of the world's commercial airline companies.
Our Gallagher Futures programme will provide you with a 2-year, tailored development plan, with the aim of accelerating your career in the insurance industry. You'll be mentored, have access to superb coaching and work towards achieving your CII professional qualification. During the programme you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on, working closely with your mentor and making a real difference early.
As part of our Broking teams, you’ll be at the heart of our business, meeting clients, building relationships, analysing data and working with insurers to get the best possible result for your clients. - Manage client relationships and help grow the business
- Provide tailored and appropriate insurance solutions
- Build relationships and work with clients to determine terms and conditions of risks
- Liaise with insurers to negotiate the best possible terms for our corporate client base
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, growing your list of clients
- Analyse and interpret sales data to utilise patterns and trends
- Manage your workload and make sure tasks are completed within set timeframes

As a minimum you’ll be:
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with Grade A to C (4-9) in English and Maths.
- Comfortable with complex issues and distilling these for others
- Keen to make a difference and forge a career
- Able to plan activity and analyse data, both crucial skills when dealing with clients and insurers
- Accurate and have an eye for detail
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Eligible to work in the UK
