Purpose
Oversight of multiple bank accounts for the UK and Australia, monitoring transactions, liquidity and performing bank reconciliations. Working with AP to ensure timely and accurate settlement runs.
Assisting the wider GAM UK Finance team with key deliverables.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
- Ensuring management of client-money adheres to regulatory CASS requirements
- Monitoring liquidity and foreign currency cash balances
- Communicating and resolving queries with accounts payable, accounts receivable and the wider business
- Operational payments in line with business requirements
- Draft preparation of Office for National Statistics returns
- Investigation and resolution of any outstanding issues
- Assisting with the Group and Statutory audit work
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Qualifications & experience
- 12 months experience in a similar/related role
- Financial services experience preferred
- AAT or equivalent qualification preferred
