Our Financial Management Development Program has provided GE Healthcare with a strong pipeline of finance talent for over a century. Job Description
The program will expose you to various areas of the business during a total of four rotations, each being six-months long. Rotations cover multiple finance functions, such as, but not limited to, Supply Chain finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Controllership and Commercial Finance.
You can expect to become skilled in operational finance and the core financial areas of planning, budgeting, forecasting, controllership, and cash flow management and financial statements. At the same time, we’ll help you develop a Lean mindset and excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the activities of the teams across rotational assignments paired with formal classroom studies.
- Partner with teams from within the business unit to specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes.
- Have a basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work and a good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects and assignments to grow leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills
- Works within a team setting and / or under guidance from Assignment Leader
- Explain technical information to others and communicate with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
Who You Are
Requirements Qualifications
- First class or Upper Second class Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- A right to work in the UK without restrictions
- Willing to travel during the program
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability; proven leadership experience; team player; change-oriented; demonstrated integrity; strong communication skills
- Understanding of business concepts/strategy; intern co-op experience in corporate finance; business/accounting or analytical coursework; multiple language skills; geographic mobility; global work/living experience
- Available for a face to face assessment towards the end of November 2022. Exact date to be communicated to successful candidates
