    Your responsibilities and tasks

    • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
    • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
    • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
    • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
    • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
    • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
    • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
    • Translating client needs and organising practical terms into required timelines to be met by the team.
    • Maintaining cleanliness to ensure health and safety standards on-site .
    • Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.
    • Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring that they are implemented.
    • Hosting frequent meetings with teams to build morale and inform them of their daily activities.
    • Working with third-party contractors to develop viable time scales and working practices.
    • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

    About you and qualifications

    • Degree in Engineering or Experience in relevant engineering fields (mechanical / electrical)
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, translate product drawings into actionable process information and develop design ideas and plans successfully
    • Strong verbal and written. communication skills and the ability to cultivate good relationships.
    • Understanding of design and visualisation software.
    • Excellent analytical and judgement skills.
    • Work autonomously with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to build morale among the teams and drive projects through the business.
    • Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality products.
