    It’s an exciting time to join Gearset! In the last few years we’ve rocketed from a 7 person start-up to nearly 240 people, and we’re only just getting started. As a product-driven company founded by engineers, we know the value of a great culture built from the ground up on trust, teamwork and tight feedback loops. We’re looking for enthusiastic students studying a Bachelor’s or Master's degree, to join our dynamic multi-disciplined marketing team to make a big impact.

    You’ll join a passionate team of marketing pros to help us spread the word about Gearset. You’ll have a dedicated mentor that will help get you up and running, answer any questions, and be there for support and advice. You’ll work on real projects with the rest of the team, contributing ideas and delivering important campaigns right from day one. It’s an amazing chance to build marketing experience by doing impactful work, and get a feel for life at a fast-growing tech scale-up.

    While you’re here, you'll collaborate with a cross-functional team of sales people, designers, developers and marketers, and build your understanding of how marketing fits into the wider business. You’ll work on campaigns across a variety of channels and get to grips with some of the fundamentals of B2B marketing. Alongside your team, you’ll push Gearset’s marketing efforts to new heights, and ultimately make an impact at one of Cambridge’s fastest growing scale-ups.

    Our marketing team is driven by a genuine desire to make Gearset more discoverable to our target audience and drive business growth, and we do that by helping each other deliver consistently outstanding work. We’re confident in our product, market potential, and we have big plans for the future.

    What’s the opportunity for a Marketing Intern at Gearset?

    • You’ll join a team of smart, friendly marketing professionals with expertise in a variety of marketing disciples.
    • You’ll work with our marketers, sales, and development team to produce technical and user-focused content, covering anything from new features, to the latest community releases.
    • You’ll collaborate with our sales team to identify potential reference users and share their success stories via a variety of mediums and channels.
    • Support our users and get to know our customers by talking to them and creating content that helps them get the most out of Gearset.

    About you

    • Be a current student studying for a Bachelor’s or Master's degree.
    • Be based in the UK as this isn’t a role we can provide visa sponsorship for
    • Have exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
    • Offer creative solutions to problems
    • Have the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a simple and digestible way
    • Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks
    • Offer user empathy, and an aptitude for using this to create content that resonates
    • Have a can-do and proactive attitude, with a laser-focus on quality

    Great to have

    • A technical predisposition, and the desire to learn
    • An interest in working in a growing SaaS company marketing a technical product

    Salary and benefits

    • You'll be paid £500 per week
    • This is a full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday based out of our Cambridge, HQ
